FAQs

  • Do you accept insurance?

Currently, my practice does not accept insurance or participate with Medicare. Both chiropractic and functional medicine services provide a broad spectrum of personalized treatment options. Insurance can restrict the variety of care available, and I don't want that to hinder your progress. Moreover, I am committed to dedicating the necessary time to each of my patients, a commitment not typically supported by insurance coverage.

You do have the option to submit receipts to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. While reimbursement is not guaranteed, some patients have successfully received it.

  • Do you allow walk-ins?

At this time, we are not accepting walk-ins. Please call, text, or schedule online for an appointment.

  • Can you do telehealth with anyone, anywhere?

My doctorate license is only in the state of Pennsylvania. Therefore, I can only see Pennsylvania residents for functional medicine.

If you need a referral for your area/state, feel free to reach out and ask!

  • Should I bring any lab work to you?

Yes! All imaging should be brought and/or emailed for discussion.

If there is any lab work, including blood, salivary, or urinary testing, I will review these AFTER our initial visit. All findings will be discussed upon the next visit.

  • Is Functional Medicine right for me?

It depends. Are you open to make changes? Are you ready to prioritize your health & dive deeper?

The best way to know if you are the right candidate for Recenter's Functional Medicine is to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation with Dr. Maggie!

  • Are you able to prescribe or alter pharmaceutical medications?

I am not a prescribing provider and therefore, cannot alter any medication. Although prescribing is not in my scope, my education included higher levels of pharmacology as many patients are on medications!

It is very important to discuss what medications you are currently taking or any reactions as this can alter care - chiropractic or functional medicine.

  • Do you work on kids?

Although I absolutely love working with babies, infants, and kiddos of all ages,

I am not accepting new pediatric patients younger than 10 years old at this time.
